Cassandra Ellis has been a certified stenographic court reporter since 1993. She began her court reporting practice in Seattle, Washington, and currently makes her home in the greater Washington, D.C. area. Court reporting has taken her around the world. Cassandra has covered realtime arbitrations, depositions, and captioning services across the United States and into Canada, Japan, Korea, Taiwan, England, Scotland, Germany, France, Spain, Italy, the Netherlands, Copenhagen, Belgium, Bermuda, the Bahamas. She has written before a special House of Representatives committee during the housing crisis of 2008, has provided services for the EU and the UN, and is a highly sought after stenographic court reporter specializing in complex multi-party arbitrations and depositions, patent and pharmaceutical litigation.
Joseph Ellis has a 30-year background in information technology, and has been a legal videographer since 1995. He has joined Cassandra in her round-the-world assignments, offering his skills as both a legal videographer and realtime systems administrator to ensure the realtime parties maintain their realtime connections as well as capturing the record with the best video and audio technology. When the pandemic struck he was instrumental in assisting videographers and court reporters in learning the basics of Zoom, helping them learn how to navigate the “new” technology of exhibit sharing and offering his services as a document technician as well as a videographer. He served in the US Air Force and currently makes his home in the greater Washington, D.C. area.
Robyn Ellis has been a legal videographer since 2010 and has provided her services from New York to North Carolina. She has worked with many court reporters throughout her career in complex litigation, patent, pharmaceutical, and also does “day-in-the-life” video. Robyn is bilingual, fluent in both English and Spanish, and has lived in both Guatemala and El Salvador. She currently makes her home in the greater Washington, D.C. area.
